About Kineo
Kineo is project software for engineering and architecture firms, built by Josh Hurt in Nashville.
How it started
Kineo started with a friend of Josh's who co-owns a civil engineering firm. His QA process lived in a large spreadsheet, his partner managed projects in a separate tool, and billing happened somewhere else again.
Each part worked, but keeping them in step depended on people remembering to update everything. Kineo began as a review tool for that firm and grew to bring the review, the project, and the billing together, so everyone at the firm is looking at the same project.
